My name is Rebecca Roase,

I have been showing dogs since 1979 and I have been grooming dogs for almost 30 years. When I was first introduced to the world of showing dogs, I worked for two top professional handlers, Tim Brazier, who is a poodle handler, and Peggy Hogg who showed all toy breeds, Lhasa Apsos, Bichons etc. She is a show judge now. I was  truly blessed to have the opportunity to work for them. They contributed to the knowlege I now have. I started with, White Miniature Poodles, which I bred for 16 years under the kennel name of Rindara. I bred/owned 20 plus champions in that breed. I quit breeding poodles when Tasha, my minature poodle, who was the love of my life, passed away from Cancer. She was just shy of 15 years old.

One year later I found Katie, a Shiba Inu, who has filled very tall shoes, and has done a great job. Shibas are a difficult breed to breed. I was concerned about where they might end up. They have a temperment that is not suited for alot of people, and so I decided, even though I loved them, not to breed them.
I do have one now 9 year old shiba that I showed and finished her conformation championship along with her excellent agility titles in both jumpers and regular. No small feat to do with a shiba! I thoroughly enjoy agility and would still be doing it if not for having a bad back and neck.

I  now have Chinese Cresteds, I really enjoy these little dogs as I develop my own breeding program. I look forward to the future of breeding and showing my Chinese Cresteds.
